Family Moment

"Claire, you come back with that fabric right now!" Rarity shouted, feeling extremely frustrated. Claire, her dragon/pony hybrid daughter, had been playing with her fabric for the past hour. On any normal day, she would have done something about it. But that day, or the past few months, hadn't been normal, as Rarity was pregnant with her new son or daughter, and was to exhausted to chase her. "Claire! Listen to me! Claire! Crystal Clarity, you give that fabric back!!" Rarity continued trying to get her daughter to put her good fabric down. "Spike! Do something!" she shouted to her dragon husband, who was laying beside her, watching Claire with an amused expression. "I'll never stop! NEVER!" Claire shouted, continuing to float around, practically gloating about Rarity not being able to get her fabric back. Rarity finally had enough. "If you don't come back here right now and give my fabric back, you are grounded for a week!" Rarity said, hoping to succeed in getting her fabric back. Claire paused mid-float, a scared expression crossing her face. If she was grounded, she couldn't play with her friends after school. Slowly, Claire lowered herself to the ground, then walked over to her mother with an apologetic look on her face. "I'm sorry mom. Am I grounded?" Claire worriedly asked, and Rarity responded with a small laugh. "Nothing was broken, and you brought the fabric back. Now go and play," Rarity said. Claire's worried expression was quickly replaced with a bright smile, and Claire ran out the door, presumably to find one of her friends. Rarity smiled, then looked at Spike, who was smiling as well. "Do you think our next child will be as troublesome?" Spike asked, speaking for the first time in an hour. "We can only hope," Rarity answered, then burst into laughter, followed by Spike.
